The issue preventing tagging locations for Facebook and Instagram appears to have been related to the Meta API. Functionality has now returned to normal based on our testing and customer reports. We will continue monitoring for any recurrence.

Meta has acknowledged the issue on the support side and escalated it to their engineering team, we are waiting for updates.

Investigating
We have received reports that users are unable to tag locations on photos uploaded to Facebook and Instagram. Our team has initiated an investigation and believes this may be related to an issue with the Meta API that our service relies on. We are in the process of diagnosing the root cause and will post a new update as new information becomes available.
